Amy H. Elder, MA, LPC

Adult, Adolescent, Marriage & Family Therapist

Amy Elder earned a BA in Psychology from Vanderbilt University. She obtained a Master of Arts in Counseling from Denver Seminary.

Amy became a Licensed Professional Counselor after her move to North Carolina.

She has worked in the mental health field for several years, in inpatient and outpatient settings, providing individual and group therapy for adults and adolescents.

Amy currently offers individual, premarital, and marital therapy to women and men. She treats depression, anxiety, addictions, grief and loss, ACOA, and ADHD. She is able to address anger management, relationship concerns, life skills, career, and end of life issues. Amy is also able to address church leadership concerns, such as pastoral burn-out.

She is a certified Life Coach, with the following specialty areas: ADHD, parenting, and life purpose.

Amy is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

She serves on the board of Faithful Hearts, a ministry to women in the Triangle area. She is also the counseling and life coaching director for Faithful Hearts.
