Kathy values the therapeutic relationship. Attachment science and interpersonal Neurobiology show that growth and healing happens in safe and caring relationships. The therapeutic relationship offers a safe place for you to learn, grieve, grow and, flourish. Her approach has been molded from her own faith journey as well as counselor education and training she has received. She believes you are created for connection, relationships, and belonging. Kathy specializes in trauma informed story work within one’s family of origin, unique parenting circumstances, depression and anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, spirituality, self-compassion, and character development.
Therapy usually works best when you schedule appointments once a week initially and then adjusting session as you start meeting your goals and maintaining your progress.
