Dr. van Dyck currently serves as Medical Director of Peter B. van Dyck, MD & Associates, supervising clinical care. In addition, provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management services.
Dr. van Dyck has been in private practice in Raleigh for over 20 years. He is the former Medical Director of the Minirth-Meier/New Life Treatment Program at Holly Hill Hospital. He later served as Clinical Director of the adult inpatient program at Holly Hill Hospital.
Dr. van Dyck has been a member of the American Psychiatric Association throughout his professional career. He was named Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He is also a member of the North Carolina Psychiatric Association and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Every problem can be looked at from in four ways. A biomedical focus addresses brain and body health, including brain chemistry abnormalities, hormonal problems, dietary problems, and exercise and lifestyle issues. A psychological focus looks at the mind, emotions, personality, values, and unresolved traumatic memories. A social focus looks at family relationships, school and work issues, as well as, goals and purpose in life. A spiritual focus addresses one's faith, religious beliefs, and relationship with God.

But we are equally concerned with bringing real and lasting change, so you are not in the same situation you were before and not the same person doing the same things that you did before.
